You know what I did last weekend

Wednesday, August 30th, 2006

It was a week-long holiday, so I headed down to KL to have some fun like I always do during school holidays.

Arrived at Pudu around 5.30pm on Friday. It was raining elephants and cows and the traffic was as heavy as the rain. My poor baby who was still sick with flu and cough had to wait for me under the rain due to the traffic at Jln Pudu. Felt so ’sum tong’ when I saw him got all soaked up. Then spent the evening hanging around at USJ and Kelana with my baby.

Got up early on Saturday morning as I had a date with SJ and KF for a shopping spree at 1-U. We shopped, talked and ate…It’s been quite some time we didn’t hang out like that since the 3 of us are staying far apart; I’m at the North, SJ at the Central while KF at the South. So we decided to catch up again for a Karaoke session in the night or morning (12am) after Eason’s concert.

Arrived at Bkt Jalil around 7.30pm, and I could already see the stadium was already packed with fans from far. While waiting for the SJ’s arrival, I managed to walk around the stadium and catch a glimpse of the passers-by. Some were dressed casually, some dressed like going to prom, some dressed like going for clubbing, some dressed like he/she was so busy with the kids until no time to comb the hair. I even saw a lady who looked as old as a great-grandma lining up at the VVIP entrance. BRAVO!! After an entrance and another, I finally found SJ.

The concert started at 8.30pm, not a second late. I was surprised by Eason’s punctuality; as the concerts I went before were always 30 minutes or even an hour late. The 1st hour was kinda boring as the songs he sang were all new and unfamiliar. We even noticed that other audiences were as bored as us. The crowd was back to its groove when Eason started to sing his older songs and love songs. 3 hours was like a second, the concert came to an end. SJ and I didn’t even stay for the encore ( I don’t know if there was an encore) as we had to rush to The Curve to catch up with KF who had been waiting for us an hour ago.

By the time we arrived at The Curve, it was already 12.30am. So I did the math, we still have 3 1/2 hours to sing our heart out. It was so fun singing karaoke, I always like singing as it takes away my sleepiness.

I spent my whole Sunday with my Kenny. We woke up pretty late and spent hours lingering and chatting. I love Sunday morning with him. Feel so relaxed and stress-free. Then headed to Subang Parade for Sakae sushi and I paid the bill as a reward to Kenny for his time and energy, from taking me from the bus station, fetching me here and there, escorting me to his apartment to waiting for my coming home on early Sunday morning. Thanks baby, SJ, KF and of course SJ’s honey for the weekend.
